This train don't stop anymore

One of the legal interns is a total-hunk type who looks like a Real World cast member. I think he's attractive, but it's not really affecting any interactions I have with him. However, Lisa has the hots for him and bit my arm to display the intensity of her crush. But there's no mark.

I found out that Differently Paced Worker got dumped this past week, so I invited her dancing tomorrow night, even though I was considering not going. I guess now I am. Club 720 is supposedly some type of hip hotspot, so maybe it will do me good experience something new. I can even dress up for the occasion. And act flirty and charming in an attempt to cheer up DPW, but without having to worry about messy followup since it's obviously platonic.

In general I'm not someone who "goes out". I'm a walking homebody. Even when out in public, I'm secretly in a shell. I like being social, but I prefer folks to come to my house. Or I'll just combine social interactions with meals, since restaurants are my favorite locations outside of home. But I do love people-watching and music, so if I'm in the right mood, a club can be lots of fun. But so many factors must be aligned -- I must be well-rested, well-dressed, well-inebriated or just naturally sociall lubricated (i.e. a good mood), and the club must not be overcrowded or overpriced. Therefore, the club planets align once or twice a year. Maybe tomorrow will be one of those instances.

Pardon me while I whine some more about the lateness of the UPS shipment of my mixer......{insert annoying rant}........ok, I'm done. For now.

I did finally get off my arse and made an extra doctor's appointment to get blood drawn for next week, so that when I actually interact with the doctor, he'll have the test results in front of him, which will make for a more productive discussion. Now I just need to call those pesky insurance people. But that can wait until Monday morning.

Slowest. Day. Ever. When will it be 5 pm??
