Five seconds is a LONG time in neverneverland.
Had a smashing luncheon with Ms. Paradise Lost (not her real name, obviously). Topics included: bad pot experiences, Jehovah's Witnesses, long-term relationships, buddhism, dating people you wouldn't be friends with and exit ramps. Hopefully she will become a regular lunch buddy, and just like hours with Sparky, I can brighten my work afternoon once a week or so.
The line at the United ticket office was too long. I also very concerned because I thought the voucher was for 7-day advance purchase, but the voucher itself says 21-day. Uh-oh. I'm psyching myself up for negotiations with the ticker officer, who are usually quite accomodating. But I hope I won't have to reschedule my trip and change my time-off and such. Oh bother, as Pooh would say.
I now have an assignment. To find all Florida press articles from 1977 regarding the law passed forbidding homosexuals to adopt. The search is on. Quick, Pierre, draw your sword!
