I can't really begin to dissect that stupid statement right now, so let's just say it has more to do with style of music -- they're playing house music, the Kings don't play club music. It has nothing to do with anything else. that is a really good comeback to such racist idiocy. i hate it when people preface racist comments like that, as if in some way that makes what they are about to say excusable. and when did the kings become a "white" show? wtf? i was thisclose to going to that show but after spending the weekend in michigan with my gf's parents for easter and then watching ncaa basketball until 10pm, i was too tired to drag my ass over to boys town for the show (even though i'd told friends that i'd be there). how was it? i feel that i've seen so many of their shows (and after being used to watching drag kings at the now-defunct club casanova when i lived in nyc), that i'm a little bored with it even though i've two friends and a couple of acquaintances who perform (i'll never tell them that). did they do anything new/noteworthy last night?
