-- I saw Margaret Cho read at the bookstore last night. It was funny and entertaining, but not life-changing or anything.
-- I had a dream last night that Melanie was crying.
-- I really want to start my course with the Audio Institute, but I don't have the 300 bucks yet.
-- I want to save money for a new desktop with a CD burner, mics and speakers that can run mixing program, but I feel I should be saving money for top surgery.
-- I got a "prize card" in the mail saying I won a free 35 mm camera and I only have to send a check or money order for 6 dollars to have it shipped to me. This might be a scam, but I'm going to risk it and get a money order today.
-- I still haven't heard a reply from Dave. It's been almost exactly a week.
-- Tuesday was my 6 month anniversary on hormones -- my boy half=birthday.
-- Today on the train I ran into a bookstore co-worker for the THIRD time in three days in three separate locations. Weird. I almost never see her.
-- I'm super excited about moving in with Melanie in September.
-- I'm also really scared. But last night and the night before she seemed to have a lot more confidence and excitement, which made me feel better.
-- Melanie will be gone for 3 months this summer! So I guess I'll have lots of time to myself and with friends. I think it will be good preparation for the fall, too -- we won't be sick of each other before we move in together because we'll have barely seen each other in person! I know we'll talk on the phone and e-mail.
-- In the end of August, beginning of September, we're looking to drive from Chicago to California in her roommate's car, leave it in Santa Barbara, then fly back. I've never seen the Pacific Ocean, nor have I driven that far before.
-- I'm nervous about telling my friends that I'm moving in with Melanie.
-- I'm concerned that my bboy e-mail has been broken and either people have replied to me and I haven't gotten the messages, or my messages never got sent out. What if Dave never got my coming out letter?
-- My bosses are out of town for the rest of the week, which means I can catch up on organizing files without being interrupted with new things. But it's also hard to complete the boring filing tasks when I'm not interrupted by new and interesting things. Blah.
-- I'm really starting to believe I can be a sound technician and producer.
-- I haven't been to the doctor since February, and I need to make an appointment, but now I don't want to go.
-- I don't think this is 50, but I'm going to stop anyway and get back to work.
