Is that sexual harassment?
Sep. 26th, 2002 05:11 pmMy boss just hit me up for money for doing the aids walk this weekend. No pressure, she said. Funny thing is, despite my brief millisecond of panic obligation, I know she meant it. This is a person who doesn't allow people to make too many jokes during sexual harassment training because to quote her, "it's happened before." Part of my mistakes last week involved the rejection letters to applicants and she's very careful in following the legal obligations of the job search process. She's meticulous and honorable and ethical in her management duties. Which is sort of why it was funny when she was pretending to guilt me into giving her money.
I only write about this because this is the only job I've had in my entire life where my boss is NOT completely inappropriate in behavior or lacking in management skills. It should be duly noted.
In Other NewsTM, I'm following in the footsteps of
grocerygetter and
freakysparks by creating and hot/not list. But first, a definition.
( just pretend you're reading Entertainment Weekly! )
