raybear: (it's dot!!)
We just took our staff photo. At one point we were sitting and standing around this table, and the photographer paired us off to look at each other, and I was sitting next to one of the Not Attorneys. He was making me blush, because he was looking at me so intensely, and then commenting on my blushing. Too much. The photos were mostly standard and boring until we decided to line outselves up based on hair length. Four of us in the office are in various forms of baldness -- I was Day Two.

I didn't dress up to wake up for work, and/therefore, I've not been as productive. I went to lunch with CoWorker Friend and it was weird. Um, I don't know what else to say about it. She's going through some stuff regarding my friendship, but I'm not. I guess that might be a Cliffs Notes version of it. I was supremely confused in the beginning, but after getting her talking more, it started to make more sense to me, even if I wasn't feeling the exact same things.

I finally booked my tickets for xmas and new year's. I got a pretty decent deal ($350 with taxes and fees and shipping since paper tickets were required) and all the flights are non-stop. I'll gladly pay a few extra bucks to not fly into Detroit or Cleveland or Atlanta, which aren't even in the correct directions. So I'm flying to SFO on Christmas morning, arrive around noon, then flying to Las Vegas Town on Monday afternoon of the 30th and staying until the 3rd. The four+ days in the Bay Area will be my longest visit yet. Almost a whole week on the strip, although I'm leaving wicked early on the 3rd, so I might just go out on Thursday night and never sleep.

I feel I should be more excited, and I am, but I'm also quite anxious about money and costs while in Vegas. I don't really plan on gambling or anything, but food and drink and shows are really expensive. But I could also just buy a pack of smokes and walk around the casinos all day and be fairly entertained.

But once the immediate stress dies down, I'm sure I'll be excited to be on vacation.
