At 9 am I was awoken from my morning nap and informed that I had a 2 pm doctor's appointment. I could barely contain my excitement during the day, except, I could because I can't move to fluidly.

I didn't get Dr. Cook, I got some resident assistant who was approximately 5 years older than me. None of this bothered me since I had already diagnosed myself (ear infection and tonsillitis). She did a quick-strep test, but that turned up negative, as I thought. She brought in the doctor to confirm the diagnosis, and he was the biggest SNAG I've seen in awhile (Sensitive New Age Guy, for those who don't). He was a wearing a fleece and some knit cap and his hair was in a ponytail and he called me buddy about five times in the 45 seconds he was there. But he was okay.

Maybe I was just so happy to get the prescription for large dose antibiotics. They aren't working fast enough for me. I want more instant relief, but I know to have patience. I've only taken one dose and I'll wait until close to bedtime for the second one.

I can't really talk. My tonsils are so swollen that only a whisper comes out. But I think that will be resolved soon.

Thanks to all my wonderful well-wishers!!
