So come give me a hug.
Feb. 23rd, 2003 08:45 pmNumber of vitamin!waters consumed this weekend: at least four, possibly five
Number of hours slept over the weekend (total): seven.
Not good, my friend. Five on Friday night and two on Saturday night and yet I'm awake and occasionally coherent. Then at other times I have horrible short-term memory problems where not only do I forget things that happened only a couple hours earlier but I'll also forget mid-sentence what the conclusion of my thought is. Sleep-deprivation makes for some hilarious moments though, including while standing in the kitchen waiting for my nachos to melt in the microwave and experimenting with a clothes pin. It also makes it very difficult to type and write and think.
Saturday night I saw the drag show at The Baton Lounge for the first time and damn was it hot and fun. I almost called Myles during the opening number which included a group cheerleading performance of a house remix version of the main cheer in Bring It On. And it definitely got broughten. The rest of show was....hot. Did I mention that?
I'm hoping to stay awake for the rest of this episode of Buffy. Then I'll get about nine hours of sleep and still be able to get to work early to alleviate some guilt before going to court at 9:30. Will our hero be successful in this venture? Only time will tell.
