raybear: (turntable)
After therapy I hooked up with Damon for some cheesesteaks and anime. We watched Ghost in the Shell and I don't know if I was just really tired or if the movie was too deep for me or if the movie was trying to be too deep and ended up just being vague, but what the fck? is my general review of it. Though it looked very very pretty. And I was entertained anytime some character went all Scanners and their head blew up.

He left around 10:30 pm but if felt like 2 am and I was so exhausted I could barely stand the thought of taking Sophie out for the last outing of the evening. But I managed to make it happen and then stumble into bed. Despite my exhaustion though, I decided to try out my purchase from Toys in Babeland from last week that were still in the package and at the bottom of my luggage -- it didn't seem appropriate to bust out new nipple clamps while staying at the home of [livejournal.com profile] dommeyourass's parents. So yeah, they were met with great success last night before I fell asleep. And again this morning.

At 3:30 am I was jolted awake by the noise of rustling in my bedroom. I flipped over quickly to determine if the presence in the room was friend or foe, and saw Sophie scratching around and nesting in the dog bed under the window. She NEVER uses her dog bed. We locked eyes, and she had this expectant face, like she was ready to be reprimanded because I caught her doing something. I said something like "good baby" then rolled over. For a moment I felt offended that she didn't want to sleep in the bed with me, even though I'm constantly wishing she would spend more time at the foot of the bed or in her own bed so I don't wake up with back problems. But I realized she was probably just hot and wanted to sleep under the open window.

I woke up again at 6:30. I can't seem to get my body clock reset since my vacation and time zone changes.

Last night I had grand epic movie dreams starring nearly everyone I know. Favorite moments included when [livejournal.com profile] limenal's Former Deadly Ex propositioned her right in front of me, and I was making faces at her like "see! see! I told you!"; and in a discussion with someone about Luna bars and whether they were high in protein and good for people with blood sugar issues, I pointed out how on the package it said "Hypoglemic Friendly!"

In Other NewsTM, my new CD rocks.
