I woke up and immediately thought "I'm going to ride my bike all the way to Evanston today!" Except I got out of bed and it was raining. So instead I waited half an hour for a bus that went slowly to the train station and finally made it here in twice the time I wanted. Only to be frustrated by lots of nitpicky problems in my project that require me to wait wait wait, either for books to be fetched from storage next week or for e-mail responses to my questions. I already wasted half an hour copying the wrong thing.
At least I had a really great lunch with Madness Librarian, which means my trip wasn't a total loss. I think I'm going to walk back over to the evanston library, drop off my resume, and cut my losses. Go home and read all afternoon. It doesn't help that my head and face hurt -- I swear my sinuses respond to the atmostpheric pressure outside. Maybe if I'm lucky, there will be netflix waiting on my doorstep too.
