I wish my back would stop hurting. I pulled a muscle in my lower back, possibly by sleeping crooked on Thursday night though I also wonder if it was from some makeout action on the couch that evening which didn't seem terribly vigorous at the time, but maybe I was at a funny angle. Anyway, every morning I wake up and it hurts and its stiff and by the evening it was better except now it seems to be getting worse each day I wake up, and not better. We're on day three. Ice? Heat? What day to do which? I can never remember such things. I'll just take some ibuprofen and stretch out on the futon with my legs elevated.
I had lunch with Miss Rook today and then we went to see Bubble which I enjoyed but it was "nothing to write home about", as Miss Rook said. I would say if you're already interested in it, then do see it, there are some great moments. But go the DVD route. Paying nine bucks at the art house cinema made it less enjoyable for me.
Before the movie we did those market research surveys were you watch movie previews and give feedback. I saw The Hills Have Eyes and it was the shortest preview ever, which made it difficult to even have an opinion, but I did learn that Basic Instinct 2 is coming out. Dude. I think that might have to be a group outing. After going to a bar and bringing in a flask. And going in costume. Miss Rook got to watch a preview for The Da Vinci Code and the best part is when I overheard her saying loudly to the questions, "I have NO RELIGIOUS PREFERENCE.....I'm an ATHEIST."
Speaking of religious stuff, I'm planning a spiritual/writing retreat for myself this upcoming weekend while I have the house to myself for all of 36 hours.
