At the risk of saying this too much and having it lose it's emotional weight, I am very much a big fan of cocolola and happy she's in my life.

Last night I got home from writing workshop, which always leaves me a little fried even though I absolutely love it. I was both energized and exhausted from the bike ride. And maybe some of the emotional up and downs of the week and day. I almost went to bed. But then I said, Raymond, if you're not getting hot sex tonight, you better get yourself some funding. So I settled in and worked and plowed through. I woke up early this morning, thinking I would be lucky to be done by lunchtime, but guess what? I'm done. I'm done, done, done and even printed it all out. I'm about to shower and dress and go make copies and deliver the application downtown. Along with final paperwork from the teaching semester that just ended, because I want to be all responsible and isht.

Fck yeah.

This means today I will actually have time to get my house in order, go to the grocery store, and maybe even take a short nap before going out to dinner and karaoke with thebrownhornet & Co.
