raybearDespite my better judgment, I purchased the "P.Diddy -- We Pretend That We Invented the Remix" CD today. It was hard to resist since it was only 9 bucks and it has a couple guilty pleasure cuts. In the same transaction, I special-ordered the John Coltrane import I need to complete my set. I obviously haven't completed THE set, just my own personal list of what albums by him I need to own (though there are possibly two more I would pick up if the price was low and time were right). I feel fairly accomplished, I suppose.
I'm also feeling very efficient since it appears that not only will I have a date next Wednesday, but that it will hopefully coordinate with MelRo's date. The timing is impeccable. And I'm quite excited about my planned outing, which will perhaps be including a viewing of some snappy fag porn -- I'm sorely ignorant in this genre. So if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to let me know. I might end up getting bear porn. Or maybe I'll just be watching that by myself.
I've never actually rented porn face-to-face before, which will be an adventure in and of itself (I tend to buy cheap (and often bad) stuff online). Especially renting from the store right across the street from me, that I frequent almost weekly. On one hand, I don't want to feel embarassed or ashamed, so I just plan on acting like I'm not. More likely I'm just feeling nervous about being rung up by the one cute boy cashiers who chats with me -- maybe I'll go with one of the grrl cashiers instead. I mean, I'm renting gay porn after all.
