I'm still developing a specific sound, but I can definitively say this: I'm non-house. And I'm very much hip-hop. Sometimes I'm pop hip-hop, rap hip-hop, jazz hip-hop, or funk hip-hop.
I wouldn't mind a gig in a gay club (since I live near them and it's an easy commute), because I think queers need more hip hop. But I'm also looking at places like Subterranean or Sinibar or Prop House (a boy can dream). I'd also like a night or two that's less dance-oriented.
Any suggestions for clucs I should check out and/or solicit?
