So I won't be DJing the gig on Saturday, which I'm somewhat relieved about because I'd prefer to focus my energy this weekend on a certain person will be leaving for Vermont soon. But my friend Ca__ will be having a party on July 7th as a sort of fundrasier for her AIDS ride in the fall, and she asked me to DJ, so that'll be cool. I'm looking forward to soon having a workspace with my turntables. They're currenntly only 12 inches above the ground, so when I'm working at home I have to do it on my knees. Not fun.

Today at work I've been busy training interns with help desk. Then I have a meeting in an hour to discuss a cool project that I'm going to supervise and work on with our full-time summer intern.

I have a doctor's appt tomorrow morning. Tonight I work at the bookstore, and afterwards I'm supposed to be going out with De____ and Ni___ who is leaving town soon. I'm glad to be busy because it will make the week go faster and I'm looking forward to the weekend. But I'm also feeling blase about everything and I just want to go home. I think it's good that I'll be quitting the bookstore soon. I like it there, but it's time to move on and do other things.

Next paycheck I have to go shopping for clothes. Today I'm wearing some of my smallest items of clothing and they're still huge. I have stuff that's smaller, but they don't fit me the way I want. I mostly want new khakis. And I want my new underwear to come in the mail!! What's the purpose of ordering stuff online if it takes more than a week? I could have made the trip to Target by now. Oh well.

So this is the excitement in my life right now. For some reason I feel really anxious and unhappy. Just stress, I guess. Nothing specific.

hey bro

Teaching to spin: I'm no expert, so it won't take long for you to catch up -- then we can learn to trick at the same time!

Shopping: What are you up to next weekend (i.e. 10 days from now)? We should hang out on Saturday or Sunday and do some shopping. Plus, I still have a pair of pants to give you!

W&CF: They are hiring, but they generally tend to only hire people who have bookstore experience. The one time they didn't, they view as a huge mistake (it really wasn't). But if you do, come by and do an application.

Lastly: Call me and leave me your phone number! Or e-mail me your number so I'll have a way to reach you.
