Remember how I said I wasn't manic before? The coffee apparently hadn't kicked in. Though I'm actually just more giddy right now.

I'm listening to my iPod. With my radio. My FM transmitter came in the mail. This piece of technology is so fcking cool I can't get over it. Basically, you tune a radio to a number on the dial around 88 FM, then I just plug this little gadget into the headphone plug of the iPod and stand near it. So I can listen to my iPod on ANY radio. I'm going to be messing with some people's heads, especially in stores. Plugging into baby monitors and announcement speakers and people's car radio and stuff. Watch out!!

I should hurry up and finish crunching these numbers before I'm so hyper I can't add. No lunch break for me since I'm leaving early to start on my errands.

Also, would a mechanic's shirt paired with work pants and boots and mechanic's jacket count as a "uniform" in a leather/fetish bar? A harness counts, but it that only on a naked chest or could I wear it over a t-shirt? These questions and more are what I ponder while filling out accounting forms and making user icons of my dog.

Also, how much do I want to fck Tricky?

I think the mechanic's shirt and jacket should count, but then again, I might just be partial to queer mechanics.

I would think the harness over a tshirt would be fine. After all, if I wanted to wear a chest harness tonight, I'd have to wear it over a shirt, right?

while money can't buy happiness, money can buy gadgets that bring temporary elation. or in this case, apple loans can buy gadgets. or as my co-worker's husband says, it's only a loan if you plan on paying it back before dying.

Of course, I don't have a harness either, but I thought that would be a cheaper purchase than leather pants. ;)

I'm glad you'll be there tonight! I'm leaning towards just wearing the mechanics uniform and counting on Mistress Minax vouching for me. Or at least that people will come visit me in the front bar if I can't go in the back.

Ya, we were uber well behaved with the apple loan.

I am hoping though that alcoholic parental guilt around the holiday season might = an ipod.

You can't buy my love, but perhaps my complacency.

i have to say, i'm having trouble looking at your user icon, reading your posts/comments, and *not* imagining sophie saying those things. yikes!

and that is such an appropriate picture of her, too ;P

What if you imagine Steve the Pharmacist saying these things instead?

I miss you!

Yeah, I'm really glad, too. Any idea what time y'all are going? I'm hoping to not be the only female there when I arrive. Those boys tend to look at us funny.

I'll totally come visit you in the front bar.

I cannot speak for Lady Lynx, though I'm considering either going early (around 9:30) and leaving early, since I'm leaving town for the weekend tomorrow and have packing and shopping to do. Or I might try to get lots of errands done earlier in the evening, then head over later, like closer to 10:30 or 11.

I live in BoysTown though, not to far, so feel free to call my cell phone when you're headed over.

Also, do you play Hearts? We're looking for a fourth person for a card game night.

I have played, but it's been a while. After a brief refresher, I could probably do ok. If you're looking for a good player, I have recently heard [livejournal.com profile] vimandvigor talking longingly about Hearts.

Off to work.

Hey, anytime you need a fourth for some cards action, you just call me! If you say you play euchre I may just fall to my knees and kiss your boots. Or something.
