It is a tale told by an idiot. Or, through horoscopes.

The Moon entered relationship-oriented Libra at 2:46 am EDT. We tend to reflect on what’s going on without as much judgment as usual. We strive for balance. We try to find the right mixture between social and personal. Meanwhile, the Sun forms an irritating quincunx aspect with Mars, now in his retrograde phase. Little things can annoy us and then we get annoyed with ourselves for being bothered by such trivia. It’s difficult now to find that elusive balance the Libra Moon so desperately needs. (My moon is in Libra....so true.)
CANCER (Jun 21–Jul 22): The primary issue in your life comes back to a recurring theme. What do you feel in your gut? And how does this differ from what you need to do in order to maintain your own stability? It’s a variation on the head versus heart stuff. The feelings are clearly telling you one thing, but logic pushes you in a slightly different direction.

The Moon is in Libra today, asking us to reflect on the beauty around us. Even if things are less than acceptable, the Libra Moon suggests that we can find a way to balance the unacceptable with the better half. The problem is that we might be misled by our own perceptions now as the Sun moves in to oppose illusory Neptune tomorrow. It’s easy to convince ourselves of most anything we want to believe. The good news is that we are more creative as our imagination runs wild. The bad news is that we cannot tell what is real.
CANCER (Jun 21–Jul 22): You may need to make a decision now on the home front, even if you’d rather not take sides. But the proverbial push is coming to shove and you should take your current situation seriously. Ambivalence won’t get you through this one. Hiding your feelings won’t work either.

The Moon enters passionate Scorpio at 6:12 am EDT, adding a powerful edge to our feelings. We are less willing now to go with the flow. The tense Sun-Neptune opposition is exact at 9:54 am EDT; the confusion of the past few days comes to a crescendo. This can also be experienced as increased activity in our fantasy life. We don’t have to look for ways to escape. They seem to find us. And we are ready to journey most anywhere that looks better than what we have created around us as long as the potential is rational.
CANCER (Jun 21–Jul 22): Although you may not know what value you bring to the situation, the fact is that you have much to offer. Your emotional stability can be soothing to someone else, even if you feel like you are getting bounced around by tides that are completely out of your control. Once you accept that you cannot maintain control over those things that are changing, you can move to a deeper level of stability—one that isn’t upset by surface issues.
Last night's performance of Cassanova went well, despite myself, and afterwards I sat on the couch in the basement and listened to most of Nomy's singing as it pulsed down through the ceiling/floor. Then we snuck out without saying good-byes to ANYone (apologies, but at least no one was favored?) and there were miles to go before I slept. Even then I didn't fall all the way asleep -- the six hours in bed felt more like an extended nap, only quasi-refreshing.
Today I'm back at the office. I'd say it's great to be here, but then I'd be lying. Though it's really not too bad.
And for some reason, I just realized it's August.

Date: 2003-08-04 08:30 am (UTC)You too huh? As soon as it sunk in that it was summer, it's ending. Also glad to see I'm not the only one getting tossed around by the tides (immature I know). I'll wave to you over the next crest.
