I did many socially indulgent activities this weekend with many fabulous people. I didn't go to work today. I've been unable to pick up the phone and the thought of going to work tomorrow make me want to hide in bed, though I'm also experiencing a touch of cabin fever for having stayed in the house all day today. I've even been hiding from livejournal. It feels too social.

I was checking e-mail to take a break from television and knitting, but now I think I'll go finish laundry and do reading. Such a wholesome switch from the "kink-lite" of last night. But before I go, a short list to sum the weekend up, in chronological order.

Being a pole for a near-stranger's spontaneous pole dance
Seeing Educating Esme dance for the first time in.....ever
Sleep-deprived meditiation service then brunch with Former Texan
Play party and mostly feeling passive, chatting or watching Lady Lynx in action (with the exception of debaucherous 15 minutes in the peep show booth)
Finally having a (half) day to chill with my partner, at the possible expense of one or both of our jobs, but taking that risk anyway.

I didn't know! the person teaching me didn't tell me how many to cast-on for making a scarf. I wanted a wide scarf....okay, maybe not THIS wide. But I'm stubborn so I've continued on the project. It will probably now be a dog blanket.

you were missed at big wig on sunday! i know you've been ill and going through a lot, so it's not a guilt trip or anything, just saying I missed you!

and i'll finish your mix CD's sometime soon as well. hopefully we can all coordinate a date soon for a crafty-circle/stitch-n-bitch meeting.
