Last weekend I was listening to one of my favorite albums that I only have on vinyl, Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music by Ray Charles, and unfortunately there were huge skips and scratches on a couple favorite songs and I wanted to remember to replace my copy.

Then today I was reminded again because he died.

Uh duh. So tomorrow when half the old farts are celebrating the passing of one very old white fart who wore a grey suit and pretended to run the country for a few years, the rest of us can sit and mourn a true artist. . .Mr. Ray Charles.

I'll be pretending all the hooplala and funeral shit is for the man behind the shades.
