Of course, Kelly sang Avril's song "Breakaway," so there's some crossover there.

Every Canadian Girl is cute and the camera loves Avril. But Kelly can look like an eyesore sometimes. Case in point:



I like Kelly's personality though. But Avril can play guitar. They both sing at about the same level: pretty well.

Kelly is sweeter. Avril is more indifferent, or so she appears.

Get rid of their "images" and let me see who they really are! Then, I could properly decide.

Ok. I did. Bla.

I liked Avril's performances on "Let Go," and not that many on "Under My Skin." I liked Kelly's more recent album better than her first.

When Avril sings something like "I'm With You," there's very little that's better. Her "Things I'll Never Say" and "My World" are about as cute as can be.

Thank goodness this isn't scientific.

The answer is Kelly, only because she is closer to the personality type of the girl I would have dated at 18. If you could transplant Kelly's sweetness into Avril's frame, I'm there.
