I saw

limenal twice in two days! It's almost like she lives here. Both were lunchtime hangouts and while I was glad for all the time, I was thinking later that I was sad there was no trival pursuit playing or karaoke.

Yesterday I was ready to buy a used car and pack it off and drive to a new city for a temporary new life for a few months. Instead I just bought outrageously cheap plane tickets for a 5 day retreat in a few weeks. This has suddenly made me more productive. Well, except for the couple hours of video games today. And watching television right now while making a livejournal entry. But you know, aside from that.

I'm currently growing out my hair, to see if it will cover the bald spot on my head. Except there was a moment when I suddenly remembered -- I'm ridiculously vain about my hair. I had forgotten that part of me, after having a shaved head for four years? Three and a half years? A long time.

There have been suggestions of getting the bald spot tattooed. I'm not confident I could handle the intense pain of having the needle on my skull, but I might be willing to give it a try. Except I'm not sure what small symbol I would want on my head. A letter? A number? A tiny book? Maybe an eye. Or a miniature pony.
