in a moment of anxious-time-killing-activities, I decided to click on Find Users: Random. I stumbled upon this post by this person:
"in my dreams i am a ninja fighter. just not a very good one. just once i'd like to have a martial arts dream in which i really kick ass."
it made me laugh.
In other news, I started reading Fight Club on the train. I have a much harder time reading about gory things versus seeing them on the screen. Probably because I know that movie stuff is fake, but my imagination is too closely linked to my actual nerves, so I FEEL the isht that I'm reading about. Several times I visibly cringed on the train -- and I don't mean furrowed brow. I mean an audible "damn" paired with mouth-covering and leaning forward. I scared the person on the seat next to me. Oh well. I'm happy to be a commuter who's actually alive and not in some zombie dead space. It's refreshing. Anyway, the book is going fast and I may finish it tonight. Last night I picked up Palahniuk's other novels -- Survivor and Invisible Monsters. I'm obsessed right now. But they are SO good.
Tonight I'm going to move a car load to the new place. Yee-haw. I think I will move mostly big, non-box stuff. like the computer. maybe my crates of records. other pre-packaged type things. It will leave me more room to sort and pack the loose stuff.
