of course, the critique of this critique is its investment in a black and white paradigm, when the film offers eually problematic portrayals of latinas (specifically the unproblematized sexualization and underdevelopment of the police officer) and asians (who function as a comedic trope).

Enjoyed it - thanks for sharing. I thought Crash was about the unsubtle-est movie ever...and hence not realistic at all. Life isn't tied up with nice little ironic strings.

But it still made me cry.
