I have been craving bread in various forms a lot lately. Perhaps it's the virus inside of me. On Sunday morning I went to the grocery store for a couple essentials and ended up also getting this tray of a dozen rolls that were essentially croissant dough baked in a muffin tin, so they were these big puffy delicous flaky goodness and the best $2.50 I've ever spent (at least until the next time I write here). I've eaten them with scrambled eggs and fake sausage patties, with egg salad, and this morning with Nutella and coffee.

I was pretty sure that whats-his-name wasn't the JonBenet killer, but I must confess, I'm relieved that it's been confirmed. Especially when it started to get out that he had approached a doctor about a possible sex change surgery. That was the last thing I needed to hear in the news everyday, if he had been tried and convicted. And in case I wasn't sure that the whole fcked up matter wasn't 'entertainment', there was a story on Entertainment Tonight a couple nights ago. Featuring the opinion of Sandra Bullock and George Lopez. Wha?

In Other News^TM, I'm actively in love with Irma Thomas right now. And Shooter Jennings. A weird threesome, I know.

Here here on the reassignment surgery. I was sitting at work about 3 or 4 a.m. when the story came up on the wire, and I just thought -- dear god no. Not this.

Amen on the SRS / Karr situation. For the family's sake I wish that this case could be solved. But ultimately I didn't believe it was him and he's a huge creep but having to hear the news commentary on him being trans would have been so awful.

I am getting into Shooter Jennings, too. Ever since I stopped expecting him to be his father.
