And the key phrase is NOTHING HAPPENED. This is what burns me most about this debate, is that people are arguing that it's only somewhat unethical (or racist) because of the results. But there are no results! It's like racial profiling. People will be like, 'ok, its kinda racist, but it serves point.' Except, no, it doesn't produce any good results, which is WHY it's racist, because the only point it serves is to keep abusing white dominance over nonwhite people. Except if you say that, people's eyes glaze over. So I try and just stick to the pragmatic thing -- it's doesn't WORK.
