no. or, i don't know, who gives a fuck if it does? my fear of flying is always minutely reduced when i sit in a row with big burly guys, because i have this probably totally incorrect hope that they'd be more likely to and better at saving me from the wreckage.

No. Feminism is about actions taken for or against the liberation and equality of women, not who you want to tell you that they love you, what you like to wank to, or where you like to stick or get stuck.

Somewhere after its publication, someone took that essay "The Personal is Political," inverted the term, and fucked it aaaaall up. It managed to derail a lot of action into endless parsing of what's the most feminist way to love. That shit is stupid.

Also, I hope you get the comfort you need, from wherever. It's in you too, somewhere, even when shit is hurting a lot.
