ok, apparently I ramble

My biceps are just as fleeting as anything else in this world.
Here's the thing... I get both working against fat phobia, and the realization that the flesh is fleeting and we need to be somewhat removed from it, or rather not ... wallow.

But connection to our bodies is part of this existence, no matter what framework of religion, philosophy, or personal context. And feeling comfort in it is a connection to all of its parts - through motion, through food, through walking in nature, through sex, meditation, laughing, and the physical act of grieving.

Society has pathologized the body in so many ways that exploring your self in the gym... or distancing yourself from your body in weight... it all becomes like you said... sounds like some 'easy solution' hour long oprah episode.

So obviously I look forward to your future posts.. it is making me consider a lot how my body has progressed in size and perception over the years.
