freakysparks wrote a lovely cookie version of it in her journal, and then today I stood over the sink in the kitchen and ate delicious cold sweet plums. I am dearly in love with plums this summer, in general. So, the rule of 3 dictates I must report this trend.
This Is Just To Say
I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox
and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast.
Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold.
