The commercial during the ATT Wireless customer hold-music just informed me that text messaging is not just for kids anymore. Well, thank god.

Also, customer service work is horrifying existence. You have to listen to cranky mofos like me give you attitude ALL DAY.

My mother is THE WORST. I have heard her be unbearably condescending and cranky to customer service folk over the phone. That object lesson has taught me to go out of my way to be nice to them and make sure (esp. if the call is being recorded) that I tell them that they've been very helpful and I appreciate them. Until they cross me or give me the run around. Then the bitch comes out. I've only had to do that couple of times, but man. I have never felt more like my mother.
