Doing okay this morning seeing as I probably only got 6 hours of sleep or less. But I'm working the help desk. And believe me, these people need HELP. I had to take a break from the 2 calls I've had already, esp. since there are more folks waiting in the voicemail who have the scary desperation in their voice. We're not exactly a hotline here, but often have to serve the purpose.

(Why is GCI playing nsync? Last time I checked, they were neither R&B or hip-hop.)

I think it IS a help desk call, but she put them into voicemail. Hmm.

My boss called earlier. She's bored at a conference. And said that she doesn't know anybody there. I told her to go sit down with the other kids and she can meet some nice people who will want to play together. She said it's not that sort of seating arrangement. Then she acted all sad because nothing exciting had happened in the office that I needed to tell her about. I said it's only been an hour -- we need more time to cause trouble.
Why does she have to be funny? It makes it hard to be mad at her. Though the anxiety of yesterday has greatly dissipated for a number of reasons.

Tonight we're going to see a free preview of the movie "Focus". I pretty much know three things about it: William H. Macy, Laura Dern, and Arthur Miller. I don't know if it's based on a play or an actual screenplay of his. I guess I could look it up. But I like going into movies knowing nothing. It's so rare these days with all the saturated previews and billboards and magazine covers. Maybe that's why it took me so long to watch all the movies I've been seeing the past couple days -- because I had their images beaten into my head when they were initially released and I got sick of them before seeing the movie. So I either have to see it in the beginning before the hype, or wait several month/years after the video release.

Okay, I've taken enough of a break -- I should try to help some folks. Or at least give them the numbers of local organizations that will help them. It's such a hig-maintenance, high-energy task! But my new user pics make me happy!
