Waiting for Guffman
Dec. 13th, 2001 07:40 pmFor 3 years I have used the classic lines "you're bastard people!" and "i hate your ass-face". But on my 2304987425th viewing of the movie, I decided to dig deeper and examine the other layers of the movie. I first moved on to "Corky we love you! We want you to live!" as well as "Just drive up and get a coke."
Now I pretty much just mine the final scene with Corky in his new theatre shop:
Those are mah big heads.
Kids don't like school, but with a Remains of the Day lunchbox.....
The part of 'enry 'iggins.....the stern taskmaster....
etc. etc.
I'm convinced there are still lines to be found. Though I'm not sure where since I can recite the entire movie from beginning to end. I need the DVD version with extra footage. When will they release it and complete my life???
