Here I am again, spending another weekend evening online and in bed. But I'm not complaining at all really.

I did indeed get laundry done today, as well as starting another mixtape, a lovely phone conversation with

wearemany, along with some short ones to

nabnag, Co__ and Br___. Then I took a bath to warm up since it was so fcking cold in the apartment. For some reason I thought it would be better than a shower. But you still have that unfortunate moment where you get out of the warm water and evaporative cooling takes away any progress made in the body temperature department. But anyway....

I have a fabulous afternoon with Action Figures Myles, who I wanted to just wrestle to the ground, but didn't want to make Co___ feel weird. (And Myles, thanks for not mentioning my little dream, but also getting my joke about the baby fetish. Too funny. You rock. Call me soon and I'll make good on my threat to visit you in Evanston or some other mutually agreed upon hangout activity.) There was not as much walking around in the neighborhood by us since cold rain kept falling, but we still managed to have some successful shopping and bacon-eating at the infamous Clarke's. And then under Co___'s direction we went and saw "Waking Life" (which I've been wanting to see for awhile). I'm still sorta processing it. But it was very good and interesting and smart and deep and overly academic but funny. Now my brain hurts. Oh, and we saw Bj--k's breast. I'm still stunned by that. And the rest of the video for 'Pagan Poetry'. Whoa. That's it. Just whoa.

Evening approached, and I had one or two fleeting moments when I considered inviting myself along with one of them for the evening, but didn't because it would have been rude plus in the end I'd still have to come home alone, so I might as well get some things done. I made Br__'s mixtape, left a message for MelRo, talked to Damon for awhile, and just relaxed some. And chain-smoked some. I think that counts as relaxing.

Anyway, tonight I'm making my second appearance on IM in two days -- look out.

And finally, I nearly had a close encounter with the phone guy this morning. We really need to get some curtains for our bedroom.....
