I feel I've lost a lot of blood from various injuries in the past week and a half. And I continue to bleed. I need to call my doctor and get a refill on my hormones. Or maybe the pharmacy can do it for me, since I'm a Lazy MuthafuckaTM. I should also maybe go see him before my scheduled appointment which is in mid-February.

Which brings me to my next point. No, not security. Money. And insurance.

My fcking insurance just denied payment of coverage tests and appointments that happened in October of 2000. Remarkably enough, I don't think it has to do with trans stuff. I think my insurance company hates my doctor and the physician's group he's a part of. Because random isht went down last summer regarding contract negotiations and the insurance telling the doctor's they could still see their patients during neogitations, but when the contract didn't go through the reneged and everyone had to foot their own bill. So I knew I would owe them a hundred bucks, plus everything after. And I paid off some of it. Now I owe another 300 on top of it. Damn it all. At least my prescriptions are still be covered (???). And I think my deductible is fairly low, so I will reach it soon and then insurance WILL cover it.

So anyway, as if I wasn't resistant enough to seek medical assistance, this whole paying loads of money is not doing anything to encourage me. And therapy starts up next week, which is another 100 dollars a month. Being trans is fcking expensive. Actually, being from a fcked up family is expensive, since that's what 90% of my therapeutic experience is going towards.

Sometimes I wish I was back making $12,000/year, because then I slid right off the scale for all health services. Be careful what I wish for. I may be back in the boat if I make the transition to doing music full-time. Scary scary scary.

I hate money. Why does it have to cost so much?

Damn those union-busting, customer-screwing, transphobic, greedy-ass insurance bastards and their friends in the bush administration! I feel your pain.
