you owe me

I'm feeling a bit drunk from the Beaujolais wine for much of the evening, however watching the MadTV skit on Whitney Houston makes me feel remarkably sober.
Today I finally mailed off my parents' past due xmas gifts. I completed several other errand type activities in the afternoon and had a mellow evening. Now I will attempt to write a semblance of a post I wanted to do on Friday afternoon before the servers went down at work.
I'm a copycat. If I am in the room with someone British for more than 10 minutes, I immediately start substituting "bloody" for "fcuking". There are many random items in my vocabulary that I absorbed from other people (e.g. "wicked"), specifically friends, but sometimes just people I like and respect.
My initial journalling style was pretty awkward, but then I started filling journal entries with e-mails I sent to folks. Then I started writing journal entries in the general style of my e-mails. But the more livejournals I read, the more I start to adapt certain styles from other people. Currently, I feel my journal is sort of a strange mix of Drood, The Passives, Angeltrouble, and Limenal. But everyone on my friends list has some influence.
Right now I'm about to do an LJ impression of my dear friend
wearemany. I love her journal partly because I love her, but also because it's a game to interpret amongst the blurred lines of real-life people, fanfic characters, and influential celebrities. Now, I don't have an amazing catalog of fanfic to reference, so probably no one will get this post except me. But also, much love to SNK.
Jules is hanging in there, despite my resistance to neither expand the dialogue or let the story rest. but documentaries and MTV new reports have inspired me to add a scene in a club. and I've learned that Meth is a better conspirator to leave my girl with on the dance floor, because X would get too easily distracted. and despite any and all comical shortcomings, he is trustworthy.
also, bookstore owners can be cruel with their power to make me blush and i'm sorry i don't have a clever answer to make you hang the poster. i don't want to be having the conversation either.
and red wine apparantly makes you more drunk then white whine, or at least cheap pink wine, but either way i'm able to finish a mixtape filled with sexual gratutity. and that is good.
and ryan adams on snl is cute, but steph lova on mtv2 is hot.
