Who decided that Friday is a good time for lunch meetings? It wasn't me. I would have told them Friday is a good time overlong lunchhours spent in the smoking section of burger joints. But apparantly no one asked me.

Welcome to the microcosm. Here are current ups and downs.

Bad
1. no lunch with Sparky
2. banging on the floor above. with a hammer, not the falling-through-the-ceiling-Rosalyn-head-breaking kind of banging. bonus points to readers for knowing that reference.
3. my mixer will probably not arrive until Monday. last time I checked that's NOT 2-3 day shipping, since I ordered it on Tuesday. which means no fun mixing this weekend.

Good
1. it's friday.
2. dinner tonight with Bri & Ste. hopefully at Star of India. best.

That's about it. There are hundreds upon hundreds of larger issues I could occupy my brain with, but right now I feel like being a tad self-absorbed and not looking past the three feet in front of me. They'll be plenty time for rocking when I'm old.

Last night we watched Will & Grace and for some reason I got all warm and fuzzy when Rosie('s characer) outed herself. Sometimes I'm a sap. We also watched an episode of Friends, something I have not done in almost 3 years. Damn, they look old.

The banging is getting louder. Maybe Susan Ruttan will appear at my desk. Time to put this post out of its misery and end it.
