i don't fck with the white horse.
I survived this day. And tomorrow my boss will be out of the office. I think I earned that.
Help desk was quasi-eventful. I had the opportunity to tell this women 5 times "we are unable to assist you anymore." I then warned her that I would be hanging up the phone (I find it's more polite and professional then just straight-up hanging up), to which she replied, "you can do that". Yes, yes I can. And I did. But not before wishing her luck in her situation. I wasn't even trying to be an ass -- we really have given her enough to help herself, but she's not doing it for whatever reason. Plus, we don't handle criminal matters.
It must be summer because I'm freezing. The air conditioning is always on way too high, and I'm someone that likes it pleasantly chilled. But I should be wearing jeans and boots and a long sleeved shirt, possibly sweater to keep my skin from icing over in the office -- and that's bad when the outside weather is appropriate for t-shirt, shorts and sandals (my current outfit).
I've mostly gotten over my frustration with this morning and the cancelled DJ gig. Now I should just secure my ticket for the stand-up gig so I don't get shut out of that as well.

I do believe the standup gig will be wildly fun..maybe as a "about-dang-time---very-much-what-you're-due" type of thing for the rest of this week?
