cuedus is the one who asked me, so here you go: a list of queer musicians. I'm sure I've forgotten some big obvious ones, as well as some lesser known ones, especially since I just did this pretty much off the top of my head, so feel free to add some in the comments.


**I'm sure there are TONS more local and indie bands than I've named here -- I tried to list at least the quasi-mainstreamish type folks, especially folks people in the general public have heard of. I mean, there are probably hundreds more lesbian folksingers and dyke punk bands and gay techno groups. Also, some of these are bands that have/had a queer member, just cause there are some big bands out there with a gay keyboardist or bassist or whatever: And sometimes the artists might not stand up and say they're queer, but there's evidence of same-gender loving at some point.**
