Had a busy and productive weekend.

On Friday evening, I talked to Melanie! Only for about 5 minutes -- she called me from a pay phone at Kmart. After that, I made about 12 phone calls to people I've been meaning to contact. Of course, no one was home, so this task was completed in about 10 minutes. Shana did call me back and we chatted for about an hour. I really adore her and I'm so happy that we're such good, close friends. She's definitely someone I consider my true family. While on the phone with her, I was drinking Jack & Coke and sort of unintentionally got drunk. It was sort of odd and funny that I was sitting at home on Friday night feeling quite buzzed for no apparant reason. So I decided to make a mixtape for Melanie -- volume 4 in the Raymond chronicles. I finished, and it's okay, but I might re-do it, depending on how anal I feel.

Didn't want to mix my entries, for some reason. I'm long-winded enough.

Alex: I have four pairs of pants for you, bro! Hit me when you're back in town.

Jennie: Thanks for your e-mail -- sorry for the delay in replying, but I'm hoping to get to it soon.

Joe: Thanks for reminding me to value sex with myself. In your honor I will have vigorous self-fucking this week. Get yer mind right, papi.

Ridley: In general, I sometimes feel that your my trannie LJ kindred spirit. Or maybe just a plain ole kindred spirit. Anyway, good luck with negotiating your new relationship....and remember, boys are funny. As are bois. And boiz. And boyz. They're all funny.

Jessie: As my friend Damon or I would say to each other, I'm hurtin for you, dog. My last breakup was fairly similar in nature. I know you have tons a great folks looking out for you in DC, but I'm still going to think of you positively and send you good energy during this stressful time. Best of luck to you, and if it's any consolation, I think you could turn this bisexual tranny fag back into a dyke! Well, sort of.

To other folks like Jordan, Dylan, and Tara, I unfortunately have no tailored comments but just general gratitude for daily spilling the beans about your life and sharing it with intimate strangers like myself.

And finally, I'd like to thank the Academy for voting for me.
