Longest Day Ever
Why is it only 4:15 pm?
I'm going to entertain myself by creating an imaginary itinerary for next week:
Firday, July 20th
6 am -- wake up and shower.
6:30 am -- leave the house for the train
7:45 am -- arrive at Midway
8:45 am -- be in airplane seat
12 noon -- arrive at Manchester
1 pm -- sit in airport bar eating lunch
2 pm -- fall asleep
3 pm -- read book
4 pm -- people-watch
5 pm -- go to baggage claim and get nervous about seeing Melanie
5:23 pm -- find her and tackle her
7:05 pm -- stop and get dinner. possibly have sex in a random public facility.
9:15 pm -- arrive at house in Cape Cod
10:30 pm -- go to bed
11:03 pm -- ...
In related news, I bought a Greyhound bus ticket for Monday the 23rd to get from White River Junction to Manchester. I arrive in Manchester at 2:30 pm, then I have approximately 4 hours to get to the airport. Even if I have to walk, I can't imagine the town is that big. But I was able to buy my bus ticket online and it was only 20 bucks. Yay.
Oh, and my nephew Noah is super cute and I had a good time visiting with him on my lunch hour. People are so funny around babies. I definitely love them (and kids in general), but I interact with them in such a different way. Like I don't coo and get all overly excited around them. I almost treat them like equals. I'm more likely to treat dogs like kids than treating kids like "kids". So anyway, I had some 'private time' with Noah and walked him around the office and gave him the tour and told him all about my co-workers. Oh yeah, he's one month old. No matter.
Alright, it's almost 4:30. Getting closer to 5!!
