this is my 400th livejournal post.

Yesterday after posting we spent a lot of time showing each other stacks of pictures from our past. I really need to get mine organized into a book. I also have a lot of pics to throw away. I think I've previously been hesitant to get rid of anything, but I really don't need 6 out-of-focus pics of the dolphins at Sea World from my 6th grade trip there...one picture will suffice.

(no subject)

does anyone else ever feel compelled to start a second livejournal that posts your real thoughts and feelings but perhaps contains fake bio information so that anyone who read it does not associate it with your "real" life" and absolutely no one in your "real" life even knows it exists?

or maybe i'm just feeling strange and vulnerable right now.
that's sorta how my journal started out. and i don't necessarily prefer it that way. but it's sometimes weird now.

I'm not functional, I just play one on TV.

Now I know I'm not exactly the poster child for happy parental communication, but lately there have been several folks contemplating coming out letters to family, so in case any one is curious, I posted my coming out letters almost exactly a year ago here in my livejournal. So if you're looking for examples of what (not?) to do....or just for random support or fyi.....
