Last night started off badly -- I came home to the poor pup wiggling in filth of food and other bad things. I ended up throwing away a towel and two chew toys in the process of cleaning everything up -- just not worth the effort. Bad news bears for the Sopherson. But now that she's on the medication, she seems a bit better, if still a little slow and lethargic and resistant to eating.
But soon after everything picked up -- I made delicious pan-grilled pork chops which I shared with Damon. We managed to catch up on what's been going on in the past couple weeks, as far as our respective life-changing epiphanies and whatnot. Then we headed down to Liza's for some delightful trash television (with a touch of quality programmin thrown in for good measure, thanks to the Independent Film Channel and Jon Favreau). Liza, I hope you won't mind that I'll be randomly showing up at your door several times a week, at least until we switch our cable to RCN. Then I'll just come over when invited.
Speaking of independent films and whatnot, tomorrow night I'm going to see either John Sayles's new movie or his older flick Brother From Another Planet (my friend isn't sure of the exact program), and he'll be in attendance to answer questions.
This entry is lacking in spectacular insight into Raybear's psyche, but I can't really offer any apologies. My brain is currently on vacation and will return sometime in the next few days -- I'm sure he'll be glad to get back to you as soon as he checks his messages.
