Here we are, once again, it's Sunday night.

Weekly horoscope:
Dear RAYMOND,
You love the whole idea of having a home, and yet your home is not so much a collection of bricks and mortar, but more of an emotional state. If you are at home with yourself you could almost be at home anywhere. The reason for the discussion is that Uranus is moving into the section of your chart associated with long distance travel and with the broadening of your horizons. You may get the urge to shift your roots and move to a new area, or even a new country. It might take some time for you to come to this conclusion, but you will begin to feel a change in the air as time moves on, and you appreciate how the benefits that you could gain from a change of scene could be quite enormous. The Sun and Mercury are both moving through this part of your chart and are helping you as early as this week to see why some kind of transformation of your situation would be a positive thing. The Sun squares Saturn, which puts you in touch with the limits of your current situation, so that you understand that to grow you need to do something positive - you can't stay stuck in the same old rut any longer.

My home will be changing soon. This is not a bad thing. But as a homebody, change is always temporarily disruptive and upsetting, even when it's exciting or needed or "for the best" or all of the above.

For someone who values home time and safe space, I can be the laziest person in the world when it comes to organizing and decorating. I will unpack 80% of my belongings than leave those few boxes in the corner for nine months. Or a year, and then move them again when it's time. But with each successive move I get better.

I'm not the one moving this time, but I'm trying to still think of it as a move because I know the place will look very different with only my belongings taking up the space. Most everything on the walls belongs to her, and too much blank white space would be maddening. I'm considering filling every room with paintings I'll make during the month of April. My own personal journey through art therapy to which I will unintentionally subject every houseguest. On second thought, maybe I should visit the poster shop across the street.

[livejournal.com profile] limenal wrote a very touching entry last night about moving, and I'm not trying to compete or even offer a complimentary side of the story. But somehow it seemed dishonest to not write some of it on my own.

This weekend went by too fast. But every moment was worth it.

Now I will go eat my homemade chicken chili.
