I didn't even have to use my AK.
Jun. 13th, 2007 08:17 pmSigns that today was a good day:
1. My guts are no longer rumbling or causing traumatic bathroom trips.
Yay the human body's capacity for self-healing!
2. My jaw doesn't hurt.
Yay for my dentist's office who squeezed me in for 15 minutes of drilling my tooth down to a dull nub that is no longer messing up my bite. Also, yay for free ibuprofen at work.
3. My chest is pink.
Yay for sunshine and green grass and tall trees by the lake. I am not actually sun burnt, I was only sitting in the grass for about 20 minutes tops, but I don't really tan -- I burn and then that gets a slight shade darker. I will never be bronze. But I can maybe make my farmer's tan slightly less extreme. Also, it just feels good to have lots of skin soaking up sunshine. I swear I could feel my body creating the vitamin D.
Thank you for all who sent well-wishes. I can now go back to occupying my mind and time with bigger things, in my own life and the lives of others. Which frankly, I'm rather excited about. On the way to breakfast with the Lovely and Talented
cocolola, she pointed out that when you're ill in any way, time is always so much longer. And its true. 36 hours of combined illnesses seems like a month.
I'm going home and sageing myself though, just in case.
