I woke up about half an hour ago, completely dried out and thirsty. So I managed to get up and find water then lie back down, but couldn't fall back asleep. Which is a shame, since I was dreaming in fcking widescreen THX. Seriously. I believe I was watching some MTV made for TV movie involving some sort of relationship drama. And it was just like when I'm flipping channels and my attention gets caught by The Sopranos or ER, solely because it's widescreen high resolution. But alas, I couldn't get back to sleep and finish the viewing.

Though I did discover that this is the hours that Comedy Central shows one of its finer pieces of work: Strip Mall. I love Julie Brown. Not Downtown Julie Brown, who is cool in her own right, but Julie "The Homecoming Queen's Gotta Gun" Brown.

While we're on the topic of television, I forgot to mention yesterday about Buffy. Oh my god, Buffy. I can't believe Tara got shot. Oh my god oh my god. limenal can testify to my screaming in shock and disbelief. Damn that show for being so good and reinventing itself solely by its ability to make the characters grow and change and become more complex.

Playstation 2 has dropped its price to $200. Maybe for my birthday I'll get that, since it has the ability to play DVDs. Then again, how often do I really play my Dreamcast? Not enough to warrant TWO gaming systems, especially when games cost about 50 bucks a pop. It's like buying a printer for 100 dollars, but the ink cartridges cost half of that.

Uh-oh -- I just managed to yawn. I may write an e-mail, then get some milk and cookies. The carbs should help put me to sleep

My friend Kacie was on Strip Mall (at least the 1st season) - I never saw her on it, but she's a little person and I think the only one on the show. Rock on. :)

cool! I think I remember her. I've only seen about 3 whole episodes, because they kept moving it around and i figured it just got cancelled because it was good (if weird).

last night's episode featured Victoria Jackson of SNL fame.
