She likes to chew her toys on TOP of shoes, but doesn't actually chew the shoes themselves. Very odd. For the most part we don't mind, except when she drools on them. ew.
she definitely enjoyed chewing her bone on top of my flip flops... but then, when i wasnt looking, she bit off one of the pieces of my flip flop that keep the thong part connected to the sole. do you know what i'm talking about? like, the little plug things on the bottom of a flip flop. she bit it off and chewed it up, and i didnt notice until a few minutes later. thankfully, she spit the rubber out. but it was sad for my shoe, nonetheless :P
she has naturally long claws that can't be trimmed too short -- the vein comes down pretty low, so if you cut them too short it hurts her and she bleeds. we probably should file them more often to prevent sharpness, though if she spends a lot of time running on concrete, it happens naturally. plus, I think in this photo she's fully stretched, so the claws look longer than usual.
i can't wait for you to meet her. maybe she'll be done shedding so she won't get as much fur all over you and Riley's all-black clothes. though his lint brush is still here.
also, Clarke's appears to be building some nighttime establishment next door with a bar and booths. who knew? perhaps if they're open when you're here, we can visit this swanky version after eating dinner there.
my cat (who lives at my parents' house. :() is light grey, so i'm used to having fur all over my all-black clothes. especially cause i went through my uber-goth phase when i lived there. i think a little animal fur adds to the gothiness. maybe?
