I buy Ericsson phones because that's what James Bond uses.

So I e-mailed Cute Gay Photographer (so named not only because of his assumed sexuality but also because he's a photojournalist how's done work for every gay publication out there), and he can print me a copy of the photo for $45, which seems like a steep price for the chance to ask someone out for coffee. Though he specifically said in the e-mail there's "no pressure" to buy, which makes me want to do it more. Plus, the photo is damn cute, and I'd love to have it framed and hanging up somewhere, especially since my favorite mammals are all featured in it and we're all smiling, except Sophie who looks almost sad but has her fabulous yoda ears going on.

I think I'll order it.

In other money spending news, I bought a new cell phone ()to replace the dog-eaten, multiply-dropped one. This one is way fancier, but it's not that hard to upgrade from the former tool -- I didn't even have a time/date stamp on it. Seriously. Now I have a phone with an alarm clock, a calender, and games. I feel like such a geeky yuppie. Or guppie. Wait, that's a gay yuppie. Maybe I'm that too.

I should not forget that this weekend also means shopping for Ms [livejournal.com profile] limenal's birthday gift. In case you're wondering, it's on Monday.

we forgot last night to extend the offer of hanging out at our apartment to you and yours (whomever they may be). if you have overwhelming houseguests or are at wiggly field and need something to drink, just come on by. you're always welcome, with or without the sopherson and the [livejournal.com profile] limenalson.
