First of all, I'd love it if all the folks reading this would click on this link: http://www.thesqueakywheel.com/complaints/complaint1500.cfm
Which is a webpage created by the new attorney here and her nightmarish moving story. It's a horrifying and fascinating read, plus every time someone views the page, the company gets sent an e-mail tell them another potential customer has viewed the complaint. Please click here also if you're moving soon and considering hiring movers!

Here ends the PSA portion of my livejournal post.

Last night we inherited a dishwasher and we watched the movie 'Glitter'. Which was more exciting and drama-filled? Moving the dishwasher down a flight of stairs, of course. Though Mariah Carey's flick was a train wreck of a movie and I was pretty entertained. I may actually watch the movie AGAIN with director's commentary. Seriously. The longer lasting benefit of the evening will of course come from the dishwasher which also provides us with further counterspace in the kitchen.

My previously placed Underworks order (which I thought got lost on the internet because I never saw any charges appear) arrived in the mail yesterday. And the newly revamped tank tops are of a softer more comfortable weave of cloth, though I'm not sure if they compress as well. I have re-stitched the arm straps yet, so that might help. When can I just have fcking surgery already? Lately I've been quite weary of the rigamarole involved in binding and dressing and seeing strange things in the mirror. I don't suppose someone has $6000 to loan me? I would sign lots of paperwork to pay it back, and I would definitely pay it back, though it might not happen right away -- I wouldn't put you on the death plan. I could pay it back with interest within 2-3 years I imagine. Any sugar mamas/sugar daddies out there for me? Perhaps I could work out some alternative forms of payment as well.

I shall now go back to pinching pennies and slowly but surely chipping away at my credit card debt. Once I get it paid off, I'll better qualify for a bank loan which will have lower interest.
