Buffy is the new crack. It's the new Sisters. Speaking of Sisters, what's up with Swoosie Kurtz having bit parts in all these clever teen/twentysomething movies? Maybe it all started with Reality Bites. She was the therapist in the beginning of Cruel Intentions (which is extra funny since she also had a small part in Dangerous Liaisons), that small weird movie Get Over It, and last night I saw her in the preview for The Rules of Attraction.

Real World is so over-the-top these days that it's almost boring. I mean, not that I've stopped being entertained by their 19 year old shenanigans. At least Trischelle isn't the only "slut" of the show. Biggest pet peeve from last night's show: Frank apologizing that they felt offended, not actually apologizing for what he said.

That's about it for now, I suppose.

Oddly enough, I really enjoyed "Sorority Life", although I missed the first half of it.

I loved Sisters and I now love Buffy. Last night's episode was so funny. And I agree with you about RW. I think I was saying something quite similar just last week. Didn't watch the episode last night but I'm sure it will be repeated ad nauseum.

Our new Tuesday night ritual is to watch the new episode of Buffy, watch an old episode off the DVDs I'm renting, and then watch Real World. I think after seeing 2 Buffy's, RW seems even lamer.

I would be thrilled beyond belief if they ever released Sisters on DVD/video. I'd sell beloved body parts to get the money.
