Three things: two happy, one sad

1. The hunky UPS guy looked even handsome-r today because he was holding my package containing Buffy and The Sims. I know what this weekend will be about.

2. Cliteacher is completely charming and entertaining. Big ups to freakysparks for virtually introducing us.

3. Nell Carter passed away. Like cuedus, I'm sort of suprisingly upset by this and unsure wanting to live in a world without her. I guess I should just be lucky the world had her at all.

I, too, and terrible upset by the death of Nell Carter. I loved her. Also, she is the only person I can do impressions of.

I remember on Gimme a Break, when she would be arguing with someone and the phone would ring and interrupt her fighting:

(Nell answers all pissed) "HELLO???"
(pause)
(Nell screaming into the reciever) "NO, THERE AIN'T NO JULIO HERE!!!"

for some reason, that always cracked me up.

I got to see Nell Carter on Broadway about 8 years ago. I think she was in "Annie". She was so awesome! Her voice was beautiful.
