I'm starting to think this online journaling might not be the way to go.

Well, let me rephrase that. I'm reconsidering the online journaling of intensely personal stuff or anything beyond just quirky commentary on pop culture, political or personal anecdotal events.

I never thought I'd be one of those friends-only type journalers, only because it seems like most people who are had problems with stalkerish or annoying strangers participating in their life. This is not the case with me now, it's just I'm experience some personal upheaval. I'm not planning on going friend-only though. I just need to re-evaluate. Maybe I'll just use more filters? Maybe I'll just make more private posts? It's unclear.

So what do I do? A poll, of course. Results viewable to me only. I'm not trying to be mean, but I do have to be demanding for a second. Just talk to me for a minute.

I think that if I didn't know what was going on, I would probably sense something was up if you didn't say anything in person, and I'd wonder if I should interact with you differently..ask if something's wrong, find out about the thing that went down, whether you want to talk about it..etc. I wouldn't be able to do as much "Ray-care" I don't think because I might not know. Not that you particularly need me to do "Ray-care" for you, but I think you get my drift. (Ray-care meaning being supportive and caring and things) I don't think it's a huge part of our interactions, but it can serve as a supplemental communication tool that doesn't rely on either of us being together or at a computer at the same moment which is kind of nice given my current schedule being wacky. But I understand and respect the possibility of modifying things, and it's something I've been thinking about as well. So.. basically, I think we'd find other ways to communicate some things, but I kind of like knowing what's going down in Raymond-ville...and I will respect you any which way you choose to go. :)
